PDI Bulk has a hazmat emergency response team on staff. Our team is trained to NFPA 472 Hazardous Materials Technician Level. Our team provides our customers with peace of mind knowing we are fully capable of handling worst case scenarios.

Some sites are equipped with toxic gas sensors throughout the facilities in the event of product slippage. This system then triggers audible alarms for emergency response.

Our liquid terminals are outifitted with hydraulic and / or manual drop down platforms for fall protection. All terminals have safety showers at trans-loading stations. All liquid trans-loading terminals have fixed stations for railcar unloading and truck loading.

PDI Bulk utilizes dedicated, closed-loop trans-loading systems when handling liquid chemicals wherever possible. This reduces the possibilities of spills, increases safety and minimizes the environmental impact of our operations.

PDI Bulk operates an automated Warehouse Management System (WMS). This system auto populates PDI Bulk’s bill of ladings (and associated paperwork), creates receiving / shipping orders, and automatically invoices PDI Bulk’s customers. The system produces real time inventories for our customers that will soon be available through PDI Bulk’s web-site. Furthermore, all associated paperwork pertaining to any order is available through PDI Bulk’s Customer Portal; PDI Bulk’s WMS system is extremely functional for our staff and customer needs.

PDI Bulk operates hazardous storage locations in Ontario and Quebec. Non-hazardous locations include Alberta and British Columbia.

Distribution is accomodated by our fleet of LTL and truckload vans at each warehousing facility.
